Dr. Zhang is a postdoctoral research associate at the CyberInfrastructure and Geospatial Information Laboratory(CIGI), Department of Geography and Geographic Information Science, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). She is also a CyberGIS studio coordinator at the CyberGIS Center for Advanced Digital and Spatial Studies at UIUC. She gained her Doctor of Science Degree in Geoinformatics ( minored in Applied Mathematics) from Aalto University Finland. Before that, she studied Environmental Science and earned Bachelor of Environmental Engineering Degree.
