I am a first year Ph.D. student. I earned my bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in School of Tourism Management from Sun Yat-Sen University. My undergraduate thesis aimed to explore social integration of amenity-led Tibetan retired migrants and mechanisms of government support in facilitating the migration. Since my graduate study, I have developed my interest in exploring mobility and wellbeing of amenity-led seasonal retired migrants in China. My research interests broadly span tourism geography, seasonal mobility, and geographies of health and wellbeing. I intend to focus on the combination of GIS and qualitative methods to understand human mobility patterns and experience.
