Dr. David Wilson invited to speak at AAG, University of California at Santa Barbara, and University of Munich in 2015

Dr. David Wilson is in high demand globally as an invited lecturer.  He delivered a Melinchamp Lecture in Global Studies at the University of California at Santa Barbara in February: “Fabricating the Creative City: the Global Trope.” In April, he will deliver the one-hour Macquerie Lecture at the 2015 Annual Meeting of the Association of American Geographers (AAG) in Chicago. His talk will be titled: The New Racialized  Commodification in Cities.” In July, he will present the invited plenary lecture: “Neoliberal Governance is Dead: Long Live Neoliberal Governance!” at the University of Munich Conference on Inequality and Cities.
